8 triallists will play 7x16 board matches each weekend with the top 2 joining Diane and Ciara on the team.

Lady Milne Information: Bridge Great Britain

The competition is to be held on the 16th – 18th April in England.

The entry fee for the trials will be £50 per person.

Qualification

Each player must hold a minimum of 40 red points or the partnership must hold a minimum of 100.

Trials

The trials will be held at Kelvin & Malone Bridge Centre on the 20th – 22nd and 27th – 29th November 2009. There may be a “cut” after the first weekend depending on the number of entries.

Entries

Entries must be made electronically to rjplun@tiscali.co.uk by Midnight 5th  September and must include the names and e-mail addresses of both partners (at least one must be supplied) and an electronic copy of an acceptable convention card.

Scoring

The trials scoring will be by Butler IMP’s dropping the top and bottom scores.  IMP’s will be converted to VP’s on the approved WBF scale.

Selection

The first 3 pairs will be selected.

Schedule

The schedule has not yet been decided. It will depend on the number of entries. Full details will be announced before play on 6th September at the Congress.
